kavun 🍉

UI kit: PDF viewing primitives, shells and compositions (independent of harbuz).

kavun speaks a panel language: engraved monospace chrome, words instead of icons, caution pink for the active choice or anything destructive, LED cyan for indicators and progress. It comes in five themes, from the surface grey to paper and high contrast.

This site is built from kavun itself, laid out like the pdf-n-uf surface: a FileExplorer on the left lists the site's documents, and a KavunDossier shows the one you open. Every document has its own address.

Find your way

Click a file in the explorer to open it here.
SINGLE / MULTI in the explorer: one document at a time, or up to three side by side.
CLOSE ALL in the explorer, or EJECT in a dossier, closes documents.
Scroll the pages, or open PAGES on the rail for thumbnails.
H-FIT, − and + at the top right set the zoom; click the zoom to type one or pick a preset.
THEME in the dossier picks one of five themes; every open dossier follows it.
FULL in the header gives the dossier the whole surface.
Drag a ⋮⋮ grip to move the panel tabs, tools, commands, zoom or a drawer; DOCKING under the explorer shows every place they can go.

What is in the kit

KavunDossier	Document instrument: header line, status tape, rail and drawers, windowed pages, spine, deck.
FileExplorer	File list with folders, breadcrumbs, list/grid, sorting, opened/opening LEDs and indicators.
FindingsPanel	Grouped findings with levels, pages, removal, trash and restore.
NotesPanel	Annotations with page links, export and import.
Lamp · Word · Meter	The panel language primitives.
Dropzone · overlays	Upload surfaces, loading, error and update overlays.

kavun is independent of harbuz: both kits share only @n-uf/angiospermae, the headless base (tool model, virtual pages, scroll and dropzone hooks). Pick one per product.
